Available Roles:
Event Assistant
If you enjoy chatting to the public and getting hands-on with events, then this role is for you. You'll be a key player in the MadLab team, helping out on MAKE STUFF event days run from start to finish. Duties will be varied and include anything from setting up rooms, blowing up balloons, running errands, greeting visitors as they check in for workshops, to guiding the public around the event on the day.
Workshop Assistant
If you enjoy passing-on your skills and knowledge to others, working with tech, getting creative or are just keen to gain experience in workshop delivery, then this role is for you. Assist our workshop leaders in setting up spaces and delivering activities from drop-in Minecraft, craft activities, soldering workshops to beginners programming classes.
Marketing Assistant
You'll be a key member of our promotional team and keen to use your enthusiasm and local knowledge to help promote the MAKE STUFF events. From assisting with distribution to developing marketing databases, we need you to help spread the word!
Please note, we are recruiting volunteers on a rolling basis but we ask for you to get in touch asap via the contact form below if you are interested.
